Koh Phi Phi Island

When you think of the Koh Phi Phi is Thailand, you immediately think of Leonardo Di Caprio starring in the film, “The Beach”. The stunning crystal clear waters, the wonderful mountains and jutting forests. In the film, they are regular fishing in the lagoon, and that past time is one such one that people going on holiday to Phi Phi Island try out for themselves. Snorkelling and Phi Phi go hand in hand, especially because of the rich underwater life that is there. Visibility is tremendous and it’s no wonder that there are many expats that live on or near to Phi Phi Island just for the scuba diving or snorkelling. Hire or charter a boat for the day and you can easily explore the area around Phi Phi snorkelling at your favourite stop off points. There are shops on Phi Phi Don, the largest island, which have masks, flippers, snorkels and other water-sport equipment to rent or buy.
