Colwyn Bay Waterfront Project

August 2nd, 2011

Further down the coast from the pier at Colwyn Bay is a new waterfront construction project. It is intended that the new project on the Colwyn Bay waterfront will include a cafe and other facilities for water sports enthusiasts as well as seating areas. Adjacent to the new construction will be improved promenade features and some more sand will be brought in to recharge the beach in this area. The proposed pictures of this construction in Colwyn Bay look promising but unfortunately this stretch of coastline is impaired by the terrible state of neglect in which the pier has been left. From the west the view of the bay and water front project is impaired by the decaying structure of Colwyn Bay pier. Hopefully the local authorities will decide it is not worth wasting money on the present structure and replace it with something more beneficial to the town of Colwyn Bay.

Enhancing Your Limousine Experience

July 21st, 2011

Take the time to have a good time. This means relaxing and doing what makes you feel at ease. One great way to relax while checking out the town is in the back of a Vancouver limousine. Find a service that provides great service, and beautiful limousines. Make sure the drivers are friendly, polite and personable. Being able to speak our native language is a must, and a service that employs drivers who cannot is not providing a disservice to the public. Real limousine professionals can take their clients on guided tours, provide interesting and relevant information and enhance their client’s experience. Building good relationships with one or a handful of companies is the way to go. With time a good service will reward you by showing they appreciate your repeat business. Whether it’s through discounts, thank you letters or exchange of services with your business, unlimited options exist to have a great limousine experience and find a transportation provider you can trust for life.

Group of Friends Annual Vacation Trip

July 13th, 2011

My friends and I are going on our annual trip. It is something that we do the same time every year, because we find it hard to spend time together unless we plan something special. I met with them today to decide what part of the United State we are going to go on this year. We all agreed that we want to go to the beach in Florida on your trip, and I told them that I would be in charge of making all of the reservations at a hotel on the beach. Once I went online, I found several great places to stay and one hotel on Clearwater Beach that looked perfect, located in the middle of all the action and right across from the beach, other activities in the area are also very close by as well. So the decision has been made, we are all so very excited to get away and the plans are made!

Travel in Vietnam: Vietnamese Art

July 5th, 2011

Vietnamese art has been around since Stone Age about 8,000 BCE. Vietnamese art is influenced by Chinese art because of the Chinese domination on the 2nd century BC and on the 19th century; Vietnamese art is influenced by French.

You can see much beautiful Vietnamese art when you travel in Vietnam but here is little information about their art.

Vietnamese Silk Painting- these traditional kinds of paintings are famous around the world because of the poetic themes and the vibrant colors that they use. They use the silk canvas as the background of the paintings and they use bamboo scrolls for the frames of the paintings.

Dong Ho Painting- this traditional Vietnamese painting is from Dong Ho village. Dong Ho paintings are about 300 years of history. They use the bark of the Dzo tree as their printing paper. These paintings are famous not only to the Vietnamese people but to foreigners as well.

Getting a Car in New Zealand

June 23rd, 2011

When we go to New Zealand next month, I want to be able to drive around and have freedom of going where I want to go when I want to go. Sometimes I feel so locked in or limited when I don’t have access to a car. That happens sometimes to me when I’m on vacation. I’ll be in a hotel room and I want to go to the supermarket and I can’t because I don’t have a stinking car. That’s why when we go to New Zealand now I make sure that I rent a nice car that I can drive around. I’ll have to look on the Internet to see if I can find any New Zealand rental car companies that will rent the car while I’m there. I hope it doesn’t cost too much, but in reality, I think I’ll pay pretty much whatever it takes. For me, that’s really important to be able to enjoy my vacation.

It's a Trip!

May 22nd, 2011

We’re going to Alicante to visit my aunt and I just booked us a nice SUV from www.carhirealicanteairport.co! I’m so excited to go there. I haven’t been there in forever and I think it would be fun for us to just have a little adventure in a foreign land. I haven’t seen my aunt in awhile and she’s excited to see me too. We’re best friends! She treats me like her daughter because she doesn’t have one of her own, and she takes me places and buys food and drinks for me. I love it when I come visit because she spoils me a lot. My mom even thinks she goes overboard, but my mom lets my aunt do that because she understand how hard it is for her not to be able to have the kids that she wants to much. She doesn’t want to adopt because she won’t feel like they’re her own. I’m so glad we have a rental car too, because then my aunt can take us everywhere!

The Value of Hand Drawn Benidorm Maps

May 10th, 2011

Unless you’re planning to drive to surrounding towns, there’s probably no need for a Benidorm map, or any other type of map, for your Costa Blanca holiday. The convenient bus service between the Alicante airport and the city of Benidorm offers you a headache-free way connection to your hotel. Once you’re in Benidorm, you’ll find that it’s incredibly easy to find your way around. The city itself is defined by its modern district adjacent to Levante Beach on the east side of town and the quieter Poniente Beach and bay on the west side. Benidorm Old Town rests in the middle of these districts.

The best way to get to know the town might be to take a bus tour for an overview, and then rent a bicycle to independently explore the areas that most interest you. It won’t take long for you to find a favorite neighborhood, boutique, or restaurant you’ll want to revisit. During my holiday in Benidorm, I found the hand-drawn maps people gave me when I asked directions offered all of the help I needed. So once you’ve arrived, put the guidebooks and maps away and focus on just experiencing all that Benidorm has to offer.

Pool at the Mirage is the Real Thing

April 30th, 2011

When people see a mirage at the desert, they always think of seeing water, but at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas , the water that the guests see is as real as it is relaxing. And a lot of guests throughout the years are indeed thankful that the hotels pool is not an illusion. If the tropical-themed pool should vanish as soon as the guests come near it, it would be a sad thing indeed because a lot of the hotels guests always include some relaxation time by the poolside whenever they come for a visit. And the hotel guests have good reasons to schedule many hours just lying by the pool and enjoying themselves: like the fabulous service that they experience from the hotel staff, the wonderful drinks that they can enjoy from the bar, and the security that they feel when relaxing by the poolside as only hotel guests are allowed to use the pool.

Cross Country Drive Anyone?

April 30th, 2011

How many of us have done cross country drive right after passing getting the learner’s permit? One of my friend did that, and he had a great time. First of all, he is from east coast, but moved to the west when he was very young. He flew back few times with his parents, but he always wanted to drive all the way to the east. He passed his DMV practice permit test last year, and he started making the cross country drive plan the very first week after he received his driving license in the mail. He wanted me to join but I had other commitments so I passed, but I always wanted to stay in touch to know much fun this could be. He twitted and posted photos on Facebook during his journey, and it sure made me feel jealous of him. He had a blast time, and after hearing all his experiences, I can not wait to make my own cross country driving trip.

We Have Our Eyes on Kenya!

April 1st, 2011

We are in the middle of winter here and the only thing that has been keeping us sane lately is the thought of taking one of those Kenya holidays. We have been snowed in for days so we can’t go anywhere. Because of that, the entire family has been glued to the computer screen looking at pictures of the places we could visit. The web site for the Kenya tourism board has been really informative and we feel lot more comfortable about leaving the country because of it. The kids at first wanted to go to the beach and just sit and play in the waves. But, I told them how unique and exotic this trip would be. They were pretty happy with the idea once I showed them the pictures. That is the thing with kids; you just have to convince them using something other than words. I thought I would have to bribe them at first, but then they saw the pictures of the place and they were really quite excited. I am not sure what we are going to do with our family dog while we are away. Last time we tried leaving him with enough food and water and it ended up being a big problem. He ate all of the food on the first day and didnt have enough for the next two. I think instead of leaving him home alone we will board him at the vet. We can’t exactly take him along with us on our trip to Kenya. Plus, I think he would get lonely. The only other option would be to have him live with my mother in law for a week. She just got brand new carpet so I can imagine what her reaction would be to that kind of idea.
