New VW Plans

June 23rd, 2011

My wife and I had a great time this weekend. We went to the beach. We bought a New VW a few days ago and we decided that it would be fun to take a short holiday. We are going to be parents before long and so we will not have a lot more trips like this past weekend. We will still be able to travel but we will need to plan much longer and there is a lot of stuff that we will need to bring with a baby. It is a good thing that the car has plenty of room.

My husband and I just brought home our daughter. I love her so much already. Her first car ride was home from the hospital in the New VW that we bought a few months ago. She looked so small, sleeping in her car seat! I know that she will spend a lot of time in that car. Even though my husband uses it for work we will also use it on the weekends. There will be plenty of trips to visit her cousins or her grandparents. I am glad that we now have two cars, we need to have two of them.

How Does Contract Hire Differ from Car Leasing?

June 9th, 2011

Put simply contract hire is the same finance product as car leasing and so both relate to the use of a car or van over a fixed period of time in exchange for fixed monthly repayments. Contract hire will usually come in two formats – Personal contract hire and Business contract hire. The only real difference is that a quotation for a personal deal will include VAT on the price and the Business version will exclude it! A Bad credit car lease is also the same type of agreement in that it gives the motorist the usage of a car for a certain period even if they have been declined previously for bad credit on their file. On the odd occasion some lenders may restrict a certain deal to Business users only and so this would be labelled as Business only. All contract hire cars will be supplied with road tax for the length of the deal and if its brand new it will also have full manufacturers warranty and roadside breakdown assistance.

Car Gap Insurance

May 26th, 2011

One form of auto insurance I always opt in for is Car Gap Insurance. Car Gap insurance keeps you covered in the event that you get into an accident with your newly financed car. We all know that cars drop in value virtually the minute you drive it off the car lot. If you happen to get into an accident while you are still making payments up until you reach the break even point, you would be responsible to pay the portion of your loan that is not covered by your insurance in the event that your car is totaled. Auto insurance policies will only cover your vehicle up until the appraised value of your year, make and model as of that date. Meaning that you would owe more than you receive from your insurance. Gap insurance covers the payment between what the auto insurance will pay and what you owe on your loan.

Are you ready to finally graduate into what will be the most endearing car of your life? Well if you answered yes to this question, then please keep reading. The Aston Martin is that such automobile. This car truly appeals to a great deal of people, from you and old alike. It’s no wonderful because it’s as if you get a luxury and a sports car all rolled up into one driving machine. Car Dealers – Requiring a Little Research

May 24th, 2011

So, you’ve opened the Sunday paper and you see three Car Dealers all offering the same deal on the car that you’ve wanted to purchase since it has come out. Suddenly a car that you thought was out of your price range is affordable; however, all of the dealers are close enough to you that you can consider any one of them as an option for where to purchase your vehicle. This leads to the question of how to choose the right car dealer.

Since you have already established that each of the Car Dealers are close enough for you to consider, you now have to think about some other aspects of each car dealership. This is going to require a little research on your part, but the effort will be well worth it in the end.

The first thing that you will want to do is an apples to apples comparison between each deal. Sure, the price might be excellent, but you need to determine if the dealership is sacrificing elsewhere or has additional requirements in order to get that deal.

For example, you should compare the warranty package for each vehicle; is one bumper to bumper while the other is just power train? Or, does one only last for 1 year while the other lasts for 5? You should look at all the small print to see what’s included and what isn’t.

Another comparison that you should make between Car Dealers is regarding financing. Sometimes really great deals are available only if you finance through a preferred lender. This lender may have higher interest rates, which could lead to you having to pay more for the car in the long run. In addition, they may require a £2000 down payment in order to get that great deal, and so on.

Lastly, you need to check on the reputation for each of the Car Dealers. There are consumer reporting websites that you will want to consider, and you can also look within the court system to see if any of the dealers have been sued for selling lemons. There are dozens of websites online specifically dedicated to rating dealerships and providing people with an open forum to discuss their experiences. All of this information should aide you in making the right choice for your new car.

Windshield Repair Process

April 17th, 2011

Even a small damage caused to a wind screen can spread easily and become dangerous with the passage of time. Windshield repair is not as difficult as you might be thinking. The process of repair simply involves squeezing out resin into the crack that helps to seal out air and moisture. This is followed by exposure to UV light in order to dry the resin into a crystal clear solid. The scratches on the windshield are treated in a different manner. The scratches can be eliminated by a glass polishing kit. If the repair process is carried out properly, it saves a lot of money as it costs much less than the windshield replacement. In case the crack gets spidered, then in that case a replacement is recommended. The repair should not be done in an open area that is exposed to sunlight as in such a case the resin will quickly become hard.
